Daily Prayer - November 4, 2024

Lord, Our Protector and Defender, Our Shield and Rampart, we pray that You would protect polling places across our country. Prevent deception and disruption at all levels.

Expose every unlawful activity surrounding the casting, gathering and counting of votes, so that we might have clarity and confidence that Your will and the will of the people here in America are accomplished. Let righteousness prevail in our nation.

We pray against all violence and intimidation everywhere that could threaten to keep people away from voting places.

We pray that You would place leaders around the country that are full of integrity to monitor the election process. We pray that they would be honest and trustworthy people who bravely stop those who try to disrupt our free elections.

May the leaders immediately and decisively act to stop attempts that threaten to corrupt the process. May there be no mistakes, intentional or unintentional in the process, so that the true winners of the election process may emerge victorious, as You have intended. Father, we also pray for mercy for our nation.

We know that we deserve judgment as a people, because we have been unfaithful to You. We also recognize that You often allow tyrants and despots to take power when people reject You.

We pray that You would forgive us and our leaders in America for rejecting You. We declare today that we do not want the evil leaders that we deserve. We want Your leaders, that will do what is right and will sacrifice and serve the people of America for our good.

Please help us and protect us now, Lord. Heal our land, we pray, and work in our hearts as a whole people to turn away from evil and wickedness and back to You.
