Sunday
Father God, we ask that You would raise up spiritual leaders for us across our nation that know You intimately, that love You with all their heart, mind, strength and will. We pray that You would place into positions of spiritual leadership men and women who not only love You, but also love other people deeply. May they be like Jesus, full of both grace and truth. May they not only have the form of godliness but also have the power and authority that comes with true godliness. We ask that You would protect our spiritual leaders across this nation. Protect them from pride, for we understand that You oppose the prideful. Protect them from making impulsive and foolish decisions based upon human wisdom and instead give them spiritual discernment, patience and divine wisdom when making decisions. May they lead by godly example and teach the Word of Truth properly and fully. Bring conviction to them quickly, by Your Holy Spirit, when they are “off” even slightly in their teaching or behavior. Protect them from the attacks of the devil in all forms, especially fear of what people may do or say, deception that seems like truth (and may be mostly true). Deliver them from discouragement, depression and the lie of hopelessness that the devil tries to convince people of. May they take their stand against the devil’s schemes in Your power and authority. May they set captives free and bind evil and overcome lies with Your truth. May they learn to fully depend upon You and Your strength and leading, Father, so that they may be like Jesus, not doing anything unless they see the Father doing it first. May they be protectors of the flock, true shepherds that lead others to You. We thank You, Father. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
MONDAY

We pray that You would place into positions of spiritual leadership men and women who not only love You, but also love other people deeply. May they be like Jesus, full of both grace and truth. May they not only have the form of godliness but also have the power and authority that comes with true godliness. We ask that You would protect our spiritual leaders throughout our local communities. Protect them from pride, for we understand that You oppose the prideful. Protect them from making impulsive and foolish decisions based upon human wisdom and instead give them spiritual discernment, patience and divine wisdom when making decisions. Father God, we come to You today asking that You raise up apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers to equip Your people for all the good works You have called them to accomplish. We pray that each member of the Body of Christ across our nation would respond to such leadership and grow into their service before You. May they do their work so that the whole Body might be built up in love as each member does the work You have called them to. May the spiritual leaders of this nation work diligently to create a Holy, God-centered Unity among believers here in America. May a spirit of religion be broken, division and back-biting be stopped, and may love for one another triumph. May churches across this country stop fighting with each other, stop acting selfishly and pridefully, and instead work together according to Your leading to meet the needs of those around them. May unbelievers see that Jesus is the One that You sent as a result. Deliver Your people in America from the deceptions of the devil, and from a spirit of complacency, so that they might have an urgency to reach their neighbors with the gospel in the love of Christ. May the believers of our nation do the good works that Jesus created them for and has prepared them to do. We thank You, Father God. In Jesus’ Name we pray.
Thursday
We pray for all spiritual and practical leadership working in our nation in food and social ministries, in counseling ministries, in shelter and housing ministries, recovery ministries, and in all other ministries that meet the practical needs of our communities. May they be faithful and wise in the use of the finances You have entrusted to them. May they be wise as they work with people that may not have good boundaries to know how to help them in the best ways possible. May they have favor with community officials as they need it to be able to secure approval and licenses for various ministry and social programs. May the Word of Truth be proclaimed clearly and in ways that are understandable for the people they serve. May Your Holy Spirit open hearts of those that they are serving, so that transformation may take place in lives where it needs to take place. Encourage those leaders and workers in these various ministries, because we recognize that such work can be hard, draining and discouraging often. We thank You that You have given Your people hearts to bless and help the poor, the downtrodden and the struggling. Empower them to make a difference in their respective communities. We thank You for answering our prayers on behalf of America. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Friday
We thank You , Father, for all those leaders involved in para-church ministries doing evangelism and discipleship across our nation. We pray that You would bless the as they reach out to high school and college students, to both young and older adults, to men and women. We also pray for those leaders and ministries that specialize in reaching children. We pray that You would bless them all with supernatural wisdom and a deep sensitivity to the leading of Your Spirit. May they discern and understand clearly what they need to share with those they are serving and also understand timing clearly. Empower them to be the most impactful they can be. Give them divine favor with those they are seeking to serve. Protect them and their families from the attacks of the enemy. Deliver them from distraction and discouragement. Give them grace and energy and focus so that they may be able to fulfill all You have called them to do. We thank You for hearing our prayers for them, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Saturday
Father God we thank You for the missionaries and prophetic voices working in our nation. Lead them and help them each day, so that they might accomplish all You have called to to for the Body of Christ in our nation. May they hear clearly from You. Grant them boldness and courage to be able to accomplish all You desire. May their ministries make eternal and systemic impact in our nation. Use them to transform individuals, families, institutions, organizations, people groups and whole communities. Protect them from pride, distraction, deception, fear and other attacks of the enemy. Protect them physically, spiritually, relationally, mentally and emotionally. Empower them to discern what the enemy is trying to do, so that they may counter it and help others to do the same. Deliver them from evil and empower them to help others find freedom from evil’s influence. Bless them with fruitfulness and encourage them as they do good works in obedience to You. May the rest of Your people in America appreciate their ministries and support them in any way You see fit. We thank You Father. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
