Sunday
Father God, we thank You for raising up defenders and protectors in our society. We know that You have touched the hearts of men and women and called them to be willing to sacrifice themselves on our behalf to keep safe the weakest and most vulnerable, to uphold law and order, and to provide assistance and compassion in times of crisis. Bless and protect our protectors today across this nation. We thank You for our law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS workers and first responders, we thank You for those who look to protect children and the elderly in CPS and APS roles. We thank you for those who serve in rehab settings, working to help people change their lives. Give supernatural wisdom to these and all others that sacrifice to protect and serve our communities and citizens, so that they may do well in their very difficult assignments. Give them courage to do what is right always, though it may not be comfortable and may result in criticism from others. Give them strength to persevere when the costs of service continue to rise. And help us to recognize their efforts and pray for them and encourage folks in these positions so as to support them when they need it most. Bring healing to those that need it after they have witnessed traumatic events and have themselves been traumatized as they find themselves in tough places where they are serving. Protect their families, empower them to get the help they need so that marriages and families may stay together. Keep them safe from all attacks from the devil, and may they not be led into temptation of any form, but be able to quickly discern and stand against the devil’s schemes. Send Your angels to minister to them and protect them and their families. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
MONDAY
Father God, we ask that You would work through our military personnel to provide protection for our nation. Remove leaders that are hindering this purpose and replace them with those who will support military readiness and quality training. We pray that You would protect all our soldiers and their families, both abroad and at home. May they feel support and have the support at home and on the job that they need to be at their best. Give decision makers supernatural guidance and wisdom to know how to put the right people into the right places at the right moments. We pray that You would direct their paths to stop terrorists and foreign agents and enemies. We also pray for courage and strength to be infused into each of those protecting us from harm. May they have a clarity of vision regarding what their mission from You is and never be confused about what it means to be a defender of American liberties, the Constitution, and the people. Send Your Holy Spirit to protect and watch over these protectors so that they may be able to do their work of protecting us, without hindrance or confusion. Protect them from illness and accident. Bless us through their efforts, we pray. We thank You, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
TUESDAY
Lord of Hosts, we lift up all firefighters to You today, both professional and volunteer, that work to keep our communities safe. We thank You for their sacrifices and commitment. We thank You for their diligence in training and preparation so that they can be ready when needed most. We pray for them that You would protect them as they work to save people and property. Give each one supernatural insight and wisdom when making split-second decisions about what to do and where to go, so that they might be the wisest decisions possible. Give them supernatural strength when needed, strength of heart and body, to be able to do their work and save lives. When firefighters are forced to make hard decisions to sacrifice themselves to save others, we pray that You would send angels into the fire with htem and deliver them as You did with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego. May the equipment they are using be effective and not fail them. We pray that they would discover faulty equipment ahead of time, so that when they need it to work, it will. Protect them on the roads as they travel to locations where they are needed, that they would not have accidents on the way. Give drivers wisdom to know how to get to where they are needed in the fastest and safest way possible. Bless them and their families and provide for them what they need. Protect them from illness and accident. We thank You in Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Friday
Father, we give thanks to you for those who choose to serve and protect our communities. We ask you for divine protection over those police officers, town marshals, and county sheriffs who face danger on our behalf. We ask for patience for these men and women who deal with America's citizens daily, that they would be treated with grace. We ask that You would give them Godly wisdom to navigate difficult situations in the line of duty. Let your influence work through them in our communities, let Your light would shine in their lives and in their actions. May they act in just and righteous ways and may they honor and please you, Father. Let integrity be at the forefront of their minds, that they may uphold the law in a Godly manner. Give them wisdom and prophetic insight to be able to prevent crime before it happens, to stop criminals before they strike, and to avert disasters before they occur. Empower them to save lives and preserve law and order in our nation. Protect them and their families from discouragement, assault, spiritual and physical attach, from corrupting influences and from all evil and temptation. Bless them, mentor them, support them, and hold them close to Your heart, Lord. In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen.
Saturday
Father, we give thanks to you for the individuals that you have called to be part of America's Emergency Medical Services. We thank you for gifting these people with special abilities to care for medical emergencies in a variety of social conditions, inclement weather, in broad daylight or in the dark. We thank you for these modern good Samaritans. We lift these people up to you, Lord asking that You would protect them from harm as they come into harm’s way to save others. As always, reveal Yourself to those who do not know You through the ways you see fit, both those that serve as EMS workers, and those they are serving. Intervene in powerful ways through their work to show Your mighty hand and loving heart to all those involved in difficult situations. May your hand be upon them as they work, as the witness, and as they rest. May your wisdom guide them, and your mercy follow them, Lord. Bless them and their families so that when they have time off to relax with their loved ones, they may be fully present and attentive to the needs of their family members rather than distracted by the service that they do/have done. Protect them from secondary trauma as they work in traumatic situations. Guard their minds and hearts and spirits. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
