Sunday
We come to you to give thanks for your spheres of influence. We thank you for choosing certain men and women to influence us in positive, biblical ways. We thank you for building these people for such a task. While the enemy has his own agents that sow lies, deceit, and ungodly things into American culture, You have your very own servants that bravely come against every thing that stands against the knowledge of Christ. May YOU be heard through the words and deeds of your servants, that the enemy may be sent on his way, and that the lost would come to know you, and that our own brothers and sisters would be strengthened to stand against the evil within our culture today. As we pray for these servants this week, let us be faithful to our own callings and spheres of influence- no matter the size. Let us run the race alongside these Kingdom-minded influencers, and encourage each other to continue to run with Him. In His Name we pray, Amen.
MONDAY
Father, we give thanks to you for the skills and abilities you have given to the content creators on YouTube and other social media platforms. From household DIY tasks, to insane stunts, to knee-slapping comedy reels; let Your name be glorified in all they do. Let your light shine through these individuals and their channels as they create videos for instructional and entertainment purposes. We ask that you would work against the algorithms that hide your servant's content, so that more exposure the to your Son might come to this world through your people. Let your people not be swayed to make more popular content by diminishing their witness of You. Let them not be tempted to forsake you for subscriptions and clicks. Let them not turn away from truth for popularity. We pray that you would pour out Your Holy Spirit and power upon them that would spread into every household from every view of their content! We stand together, coming against the work of the enemy. We declare that demons tremble because of You! Let the reach of Your servants in social media put to flight the plans of the enemy, and we pray that their efforts would lead the lost into the light of your Word and into freedom through Jesus. In His Name we pray, Amen.
TUESDAY
Father God, we pray for professional athletes and their influence in our culture. We ask that You would elevate and give platforms to those who are faithful witnesses to You. May their biblical and righteous messages be heard and may the positive and inspirational things they say and examples they provide be fruitful in impacting our culture for good. We pray that You would minimize the impact of those athletes trying to use their influence for selfish or wrong/evil agendas and motives. Cause their voices and examples to be drowned out and not hold sway in our culture. We thank You, Lord Jesus, for raising up many prominent athletes into positions where they can share their faith, where they can invest talents and wealth to produce good fruit for Your Kingdom, and where they can make a difference in the lives of those around them - multiplying other positive, godly influencers. Bless and protect those that are striving to be faithful to You and to their callings. Protect them from evil and do not allow them to be led into temptation. Deliver them from deception and short-sightedness. Give them supernatural wisdom and a desire to do what is right each day. Surround them with people who care genuinely for them and who will encourage them to make right and good decisions in life. Deliver them from those who would seek only to use them, and give them discernment to see and understand who those may be. Lead them in paths of righteousness for Your Name’s sake and help keep them on Your path all their days. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Wednesday
Father God, we pray today for all influencers that are actors and actresses, in movies and on-stage. Empower them to know You, to see that Your way is the Way of life and that all other ways lead to death, no matter how appealing they may appear at first. Raise up Your witnesses in the realms of Hollywood and the theatre to share the gospel and help others navigate the many pitfalls and temptations that are always present in these realms. Raise up writers, costumers, make-up artists, camera and editing experts, special effects experts, sound teams, directors, producers, and all other supporting staff members in these fields of work and influence. Call Your people into these positions to make a difference, to transform the culture of these realms and to share Christ and His ways with others. May those who do so, live their lives purely, share and live genuinely , and may they be infectious with their love and optimism in You. May they rise to the top as did Your faithful servants Daniel, Shadrach, Meschach and Abednego, to become experts in their respective fields who are prized and highly sought after. May they use these God-given positions to lead others to Jesus and bring about great good in His Name. We thank You for working to redeem this powerful industry, in Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
Thursday
Father God, we pray for all those influencers in the music industry: singers, bands, writers, composers, producers, DJs, mixers, directors, musicians, and all support staff that make their productions and performances possible. We ask that Your people in these various professions would have a powerful witness for You and for good. May they not be distracted by the worries of this world nor by the concern and temptations of pursuing riches here on earth. Rather, give them eyes to see and truly understand that this world and all it has to offer are fleeting, so that they might use their talents and opportunities faithfully to promote Jesus and His agenda and not their own. May they not be deceived by those around them or by the voice and influence of the devil and his followers. Protect them from evil and deliver them when they are in the midst of temptation. May they have power from You to resist evil and choose to do good instead. We pray that You would empower and give courage to all those in this industry who are desiring to do what is good and right in Your sight. Strengthen their hands for the work and help them that they may not give up, so that in due season they may see the harvest of righteousness in their lives and areas of influence. May they bring about societal and cultural transformation in record time, we pray, as Your Revival sweeps through the ranks of their brothers and sisters in the industry. Come and have Your way in the American music industry, Father God. In Jesus name we pray, Amen
Friday
Father God, we pray for all media related talk shows, podcasters, news reporters, show hosts, and the staff that support their programs. Transform the messengers and heralds of our society in America. May Your hand rest heavily upon them, convicting them to speak and share truth. May they share the whole truth as they speak. May there be a total cessation of intentional lying and deceiving among all groups associated with delivering news and information to the people of America. May there be no more half-truths shared which intentional try to mislead people into thinking or reacting a certain way. Expose those speakers, hosts, anchors and leaders in these categories who are using their platforms to promote lies and evil. Highlight and lift up those that are promoting truth and bringing important truths and information to light. Protect those that are whistleblowers or under threat for telling the truth and exposing corruption in various levels of society. Send your angels to keep them and their families and friends safe so that they will not be silenced by those who want to prevent them from exposing unrighteousness, injustice and corruption. May their voices inspire others to come forward to report evil, wrong, and injustice so that these evils in our society may be rooted out and removed. May You raise up prophetic voices from among these professions that call Americans back to justice and righteousness. Transform our culture through effective and inspirational influencers in these fields, we pray. Do Your work through them and cause them to multiply until their voices drown out the voices trying to lead people astray. We thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
Saturday
Almighty Father, source of all truth, we ask that You would pour out Your Holy Spirit upon all those influencers involved in print media: bloggers, authors, writers, printers, newspaper reporters, publishers, copy editors, and all other staff members that are associated with this field. We pray that they would be cleansed of unrighteousness and would become instruments in Your hand for the promotion of goodness, righteousness, and justice. May their works inspire others to live life in good and kind and moral ways. May their works inspire others to persevere in transforming culture and their spheres of influence in society. May they be inspired by Your divine guidance, wisdom, and power. Fill them with Your love and the fruit of the Holy Spirit so that Your character may be manifested in them and in their works. Raise up more authors and writers to capture the imaginations of Americans, to stir them to love and good deeds, acts of bravery and courage, and acts of sacrifice and generosity. Let such writers and authors draw inspiration from the Author and finisher of faith, and may they find in You the source of their life work. We thank you for working in their hearts so that through them, other hearts might be touched and changed. We thank You, Father. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
