Sunday
Father God, we thank You for blessing our local community with individuals that are willing to lead us. We pray for all those in every of community decision making that You would bless them with wisdom, understanding, discernment and knowledge. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit to make the best decisions for our local community. May they be humble, open to correction, and able to receive information from those around them. Raise up wise counselors around them and give them ears to hear and hearts that understand the nature of the times in which they make their decisions. Give them supernatural ability to foresee the long term implications of decisions they will make on our behalf. Bring Holy Spirit conviction to each of them that they might make just and righteous decisions, knowing they will be held accountable to You. We pray that You would call and raise up individuals in our local community to take on leadership roles. Provide good people, we pray, LORD, that care about our community and will strive to see individuals, families, churches, businesses, and groups flourish with Your help. Support and protect these leaders and their families, so they may not be distracted nor led astray in their respective roles of leadership. We thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
MONDAY
Father God, we thank You for those leaders in the executive positions of leadership in our community. We pray now for Town Board and Council members, School Board members, as well as leaders and decision makers on all other boards and committees in our community. We pray that You would support and uphold them in their respective positions. Give them divine guidance and wisdom to be able to make just and righteous decisions each day for our local community. Help them as they establish ordinances and regulations, as they make decisions on specific requests or vote on policies and procedures. Help them to be able to establish order and safety while maintaining a culture of growth, grace, freedom and individual initiative. Maybe they be empowered to support entrepreneurs and business growth that will help the community, while having wisdom to regulate any activity that could be a detriment to the community and citizens. Raise up the right people for the right positions at the right times, and empower those that need to move on or change positions, to be able to do so with grace and graciousness. We thank You for the gift of leadership, in Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen
TUESDAY
Today, LORD, we pray for Local Law enforcement leadership in our local communities. We pray for our Police Chief/Town Marshall. We pray for detectives and investigators that work to bring conviction of criminals, as well as those leaders investigating crimes. We pray for parole officers and others working to rehabilitate criminals. Give them all the strength, knowledge and understanding needed to perform their duties to the best and highest possible level. We pray for those in charge of stopping crime before it takes place, that You would give supernatural insight into potential problems before they happen. Empower such leaders to be able to brainstorm and set plans in motion to stop crime and dangerous situations before they occur. Send Your Holy Spirit to inspire and aide each of these leaders to fulfill their roles of maintaining order and safety in our local community. We also pray that we, as citizens, would support and honor them in their work, that they might be encouraged rather than discouraged in their roles. Bless them and protect them and their families and empower them to aid our local community to flourish. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
Wednesday
Father God, we lift up our local courts and judges to You today, along with prosecuting and defense attorneys and their support staff. We ask that You would bless out communities with good and righteous judges, legal counselors, and court officials. May Your Holy Spirit work in them to give them grace and strength, daily, so that they may uphold justice and support the citizens of our community. Give them wisdom and discernment that they may make right decisions in each case they examine. Help them to see motive and intent through the wisdom of Your Spirit, for we know that You are the only one that can see into the hearts of people. Protect these individuals and their families from all harm, from distraction and from temptation, so that they may fulfill their duties before You faithfully. And, Father, we pray that You would convict them, so that they might clearly understand that one day, they will stand before You as their judge to give account for their rulings. May the fear and honor of God guide them in all they do and say, as a result. We pray these things in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Thursday
Father God, we lift up all leaders in our community today that support families and children. We pray for caseworkers and social workers. We pray for local Health and school officials. We pray for community social organization and support organization directors. We pray for school and pre-school teachers, as well as all Day Care leaders and workers. We ask that You would bless those who work with the children in our community. Give them hearts to bless the children. Give them wisdom and love and endurance to work gently and persistently with those children that are hard to work with. May our children feel loved and valued. May they find healing and help as they learn under the leaders of our community. We pray that You would lay a burden on the hearts of the members of our community to support those working with our children, to pray for them and encourage them regularly. And we pray that our children may hear the Word of God regularly from such leaders and others around them, so that they may be guided into what is right and good rather than led into wrong and temptation. Protect our leaders and our children from violence and all attacks of the evil one. We thank You for hearing our prayers in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Friday
Father God, we lift up business leaders in our local community. We pray that You would work in their minds and hearts and souls to promote righteous business and hiring practices. We pray that You would give them grace and insight into how to grow businesses in our community so that they and their workers and our citizens might thrive and flourish. We pray that You would give them hearts to bless and benefit our community rather than seek to fleece the people that live here. May they be invested in seeing our community grow and flourish and have a heart to bless their employees. Help them to understand business and market trends that they might better prepare for the future and make needed adjustments to buying and spending. We pray that they would seek to honor You, Father God and Your Word and principles, in their business practices and business culture. May they seek to serve and bless their customers so that You may bless them. We pray these things in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
Saturday
Merciful Father, We pray for all EMS, Health Care Leadership and workers, Doctors, nurses and hospital staff, Fire Department personnel, Emergency Management personnel and other leaders and workers that strive to protect the people of our local community. Bless them, we pray. Watch them and their families to keep them safe. Prepare them mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually to fulfill their roles on a daily basis. Give them the wisdom, understanding, knowledge, experience, discernment and courage that they need to fulfill their duties. Help them to be decisive when they need to be decisive and cautious when caution is needed. Raise up those with wise counsel from You all around them, so that when they struggle to make a decision, they may have the help and encouragement they need to move forward. Support our community through them, we pray. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
