Sunday

Holy Father God, You are the ultimate judge of all hearts, and You desire righteous judgments and decisions to be rendered on the earth. Therefore we pray that Your will would be done here in America with regard to our Judicial system and those involved in positions of the Judicial Branch. Come and place righteous men and women in positions of decision. Raise up people with hearts that long for true biblical justice and righteousness to take these seats. We pray that current and future judges in America will fear and honor You, first and foremost, that they would clearly recognize that they will be judged and held accountable for their actions and decisions when they stand before you. We also pray that You would give them divine wisdom and revelation as they hand down decisions, that they might more fully understand the long term implications of such rulings and their decisions will be interpreted later. Work in their lives, minds, hearts and souls to have the perfect blend of caution and boldness, boldness to stand for what is good and right and just, and caution to not overstep bounds You have set for them. Give judges wise and good counselors to guide them, and may they be guided directly by Your Holy Spirit. Give them hearts sensitive to listen to Your guidance, especially when they don’t know what call to make. Remove corruption from our courts and benches in America. Expose bribery at every level that perverts justice. We pray for the repentance and/or removal of unjust and unrighteous judges who refuse to do what is right in Your sight, who make decisions based on selfish ambition or fear rather than based on justice. Come, LORD, draw near to us and reestablish justice in the earth, here in our land. In Jesus’ Name we pray.

Amen.

MONDAY

Father God, we lift up our Supreme Court to You today. We ask that You would empower them with divine strength and supernatural wisdom to fulfill their duties before You and our nation. Enable them to rightly interpret laws, justly settle disputes, righteously administer justice, dutifully strike down laws that are unconstitutional, faithfully protect the rights of American citizens, and wisely limit and serve to balance the power of both the Legislative and Executive Branches of our government. Protect the hearts, minds, lives, homes and families of the nine justices, we pray. Send Your angelic hosts to minister to them and to deliver them from evil and temptation. Remove unrighteous and foolish counselors from their midst. Grant them divine insight and wisdom so that they can cut through arguments and difficult matters to render clear, concise, just, and righteous decisions. We pray that You would fill their seats with honorable, just, God-fearing men and women, that will not fear people, nor seek fame or fortune, but will always think first about honoring You and serving the Constitution and people they have been entrusted to protect. Give them grace, stamina, indomitable spirits, discerning minds and a commitment to true biblical justice no matter what the cost. Expose corruption and falsehood when necessary to maintain the purity of their office and empower them to be humble enough to correct mistakes made by themselves and their predecessors, we pray in Jesus’ Name.

Amen.

Saturday

Father God, we say a special prayer today for those who are charged with appointing judges to their positions. We ask that You would bring deep conviction to their hearts, minds and souls that they might feel the weight of their responsibility. Speak to them clearly about the importance of taking their roles seriously. Reveal to them that they will be held accountable by You, by history, and by the people of this nation, regarding the decisions and recommendations they make. We pray that they would be moved to fill the seats of judges and their counselors with honorable, just, righteous, good, wise, and studious men and women that are committed to serving and protecting the rights of the American people. We pray that these who are in charge of appointing judges would fear God and shun evil, that they would not take bribes or be open to corrupting influences, that they would not seek to advance their own agendas or selfish ambition in making appointments, but truly seek to advance the causes of justice and righteousness in our nation. May they not be deceived in their decision making process by pride and fear internally, nor by external voices of greed and deception.  We also pray for those who are called upon to elect various judges to their positions. We pray that people would not be deceived as they prepare to vote. We pray that those voting would have supernatural guidance and discernment from You to be able to make good and wise decisions about whom to vote into office. We pray that unjust and unrighteous influences in the pre-election process would be exposed for all to see, so that people can make right decisions. We pray that people would be rightly motivated to vote and as they vote, that they would recognize how much such judges can influence their lives and be moved to ensure that good and just people are put into such positions. We pray that You would expose selfish ambition in the hearts of those running for judge positions and prevent the unjust and unrighteous from gaining seats. We thank You for all these things, in Jesus’ Name.

Amen
