Daily Prayer - December 9, 2024


Father God, we pray today for our County Commissioners/County Board and those in charge of it.


We pray that You would give special grace and divine wisdom to them so that they may make good and just decisions on our behalf.


Give them discernment and provide conviction to know what businesses to allow, promote and invite into our county.


Give them guidance to know how to create and structure regulations and ordinances so that that the people of our county might prosper and life her might be properly ordered.


Protect these leaders and their families from evil and corruption, that they would not make decisions based on personal gain, wrong motives, nor be deceived into doing so by those that possess these.


Give them courage to do what is right for the people they serve, even when threatened or opposed, and protect them and their families that would seek to intimidate or do them harm for merely standing for what is right and serving faithfully. We also lift up all those who provide information to them.


Provide the same guidance, protection, wisdom, insight, and help, so that they may provide timely, accurate, and useful information for the leaders’ decision making process.


Bless our county, Lord, we pray, through these leaders, so that life may flourish here. In Jesus’ Name we pray. Amen.
