Daily Prayer - December 18, 2024


Father God, we lift up our local courts and judges to You today, along with prosecuting and defense attorneys and their support staff.


We ask that You would bless out communities with good and righteous judges, legal counselors, and court officials. May Your Holy Spirit work in them to give them grace and strength, daily, so that they may uphold justice and support the citizens of our community.


Give them wisdom and discernment that they may make right decisions in each case they examine. Help them to see motive and intent through the wisdom of Your Spirit, for we know that You are the only one that can see into the hearts of people.


Protect these individuals and their families from all harm, from distraction and from temptation, so that they may fulfill their duties before You faithfully. And, Father, we pray that You would convict them, so that they might clearly understand that one day, they will stand before You as their judge to give account for their rulings.


May the fear and honor of God guide them in all they do and say, as a result. We pray these things in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
