Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts in the wake of the tragic collision between an American Airlines jet and a military helicopter near Washington, D.C. We lift up the souls of those who have perished, entrusting them to Your eternal care. Grant comfort and strength to the families and loved ones left behind, as they navigate this profound grief. Be with the first responders and medical personnel, providing them with endurance and wisdom as they continue their efforts. We ask for Your peace to envelop all affected by this tragedy, and for Your guidance in the days ahead.
